Accounts Payable Clerk - Part-Time

Description:

Southwest Missouri Bank is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk. This position will be responsible for general ledger reconciliation and assistance in accounts payable function. This position and is part-time, flexible work schedule with the hours between 8 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Provide quality customer service.
  • Perform detailed analysis and reconciliation of several general ledger accounts.
  • Handle accounts payables and the maintenance of vendor/paid invoice files.
  • Enter data for various accounting spreadsheets.
  • Serve as a back-up to other functions in the accounting department.
  • Recognizes opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services.

Required Skills/Abilities
  • Must be detailed, organized and ability to work on multiple projects.
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
  • Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy.

Education/Experience
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Accounting degree, in the process of obtaining degree or equivalent work experience in accounting related area.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to travel at times.
