Description:
This position requires a minimum of 2 years shipping and receiving experience and minimum 2 years of forklift and/or yard dog experience. Shipping and receiving attendants must be willing to work their scheduled shift including nights and weekends; additional overtime may be required. Primary Function:
• Manage finished goods and raw material inventories thru inventory control software
• Safely operate a forklift and yard truck
• Receive raw materials and unload to cooler
• Load and bill shipments according to customer specification
• Accurate completion of all department paperwork
• Perform detailed inspections for forklifts and yard truck
• Provide backup support to all departments as needed
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work as a member of a cross functional team
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
Must have the ongoing right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Demonstrate knowledge of efficient and safe manufacturing operations
Demonstrate proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Basic understanding of inventory control software
Must have high school diploma
Must be able to complete pre-employment drug screen and background check

Protein Solutions is an employee-centered company that exists to create value with our pet food partners by providing quality ingredients and supply chain solutions. Plant operations are 24 hours per day, 7 days per week with Shipping and Receiving position opportunities on:
- B shift: Monday - Wednesday with alternating Sundays; 6pm to 6:30am (.50 cent shift differential)
- D shift: Thursday - Saturday with alternating Sundays; 6pm to 6:30am ($1.00 shift premium)
