Job Title: Delivery Manager, (SAP S/4HANA Implementation)

Location: St. Louis, MO, USA

Duration: 12 months

Position Overview

We are seeking a senior and highly experienced Delivery Manager to lead a critical, large-scaleSAPS/4HANA implementation program. This role requires a hands-on leader who can not only strategize and plan but also drive daily execution to ensure the successful delivery of a complex, multi-workstream project. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large SAP programs, preferably within the CPG industry, and will be an expert in Agile delivery practices. You will be responsible for orchestrating all aspects of the program, from planning and resource management to stakeholder influence and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Leadership & Delivery: Lead the end-to-end delivery of the SAPS/4HANA implementation program, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Hands-On Execution: Actively build and maintain comprehensive project plans, roadmaps, and backlogs. Drive execution by managing daily tasks, clearing roadblocks, and ensuring team velocity.
• Workstream Management: Oversee and coordinate multiple parallel workstreams (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing), ensuring seamless integration and alignment with overall program goals.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for program stakeholders; expertly manage expectations and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
• Agile Methodology: Champion and implement Agile delivery practices, leveraging tools like Azure DevOps (AzureDevOps) to manage epics, features, user stories, and sprints.
• Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, track, and mitigate program risks and issues, developing contingency plans as necessary.
• Team Management: Guide and mentor a diverse team of functional consultants, developers, and business analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Reporting & Communication: Provide clear, concise, and regular status updates to senior leadership and program governance bodies.

Job Requirements Details:

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT project/program management, with a proven track record of successful delivery.
• Extensive experience managing complex, large-scale enterprise application implementations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with at least 2 -to- 4 full-lifecycle SAP implementations, preferably withSAPS/4HANA.
• Experience in the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex workstreams in parallel and influence senior stakeholders across business and IT functions.
• Demonstrated experience as a senior, hands-on leader who can drive execution, build detailed plans, and manage RAID logs.
• Proficiency in Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools, specifically Azure DevOps (AzureDevOps).
• Master's degree in a related field.
• PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or other relevant project management certifications.
• Experience with the SAP Activate methodology.
