The unit typically serves cardiothoracic surgical patients, sepsis, thoracic trauma, and general medical ICU level patients. You will need to have experience with CABG, cardiac surgeries, IABP, and Impella preferred. The estimated patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:2. You will be responsible for using equipment such as IV pumps, vents, feeding tubes, and GE monitors. Flexibility and adaptability are essential traits for this role. A positive attitude and a strong work ethic are important for success. The dress code requires black scrubs, and any other color or unacceptable attire is not permitted.
