Overview

Senior Director of Dining Services (Multi-unit) at Compass One Healthcare. This role oversees day-to-day foodservice operations for a nearly $10M healthcare dining account (three locations) and leads a team of salaried employees while managing client relationships, profitability, and talent development.

Location and Schedule

Location: Joplin, MO

Schedule: business hours Monday - Friday, with evenings/weekends/holidays as needed

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $90,000 - $105,000

Responsibilities

  • Operate the department within the approved budget while delivering maximum value for the client
  • Ensure the food offered is of superior quality
  • Direct and conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs
  • Maintain excellent relationships with guests, clients, and other departments
  • Promote the professional growth and development of the entire team
  • Foster inter-departmental collaboration and integrate dining service with facility operations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of five years of proven leadership experience
  • Two to four years of direct foodservice operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of food and catering trends, quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable
  • ServSafe® certification is a plus
  • Forward-thinking, proactive, and the ability to be the face of the company
