What Will You Be Doing As A Parts Inventory Control Clerk?

  • Contacting Branch 79 for parts that are not in stock.
  • Maintaining orderly arrangement of all parts and supplies.
  • Safeguarding inventories against theft, preventable waste, and unauthorized use.
  • Maintaining and processing accurate inventory records.
  • Keeping daily records of the "Out Of Parts Sheet" and note any suggestions for changes.
  • Issuing parts and tools.
  • Inspecting, receiving, and stocking inventory as needed.
  • Assisting with inventories.
  • Identifying damaged inventory.
  • Delivering parts and supplies to appropriate requestor when necessary.
  • Printing labels and tagging incoming parts for scanning.
  • Creating, preparing, and kitting work orders as necessary.
  • Recognizing wrong parts and taking the appropriate action to correct the problem.
  • Assisting Parts Room Supervisor when necessary.
  • Following instructions and working under general supervision.
  • Wearing appropriate clothing, earplugs, and safety glasses and following safety regulations.
  • Cycle counting parts in stock room.

To Be Successful In This Role, You'll Need:

  • Must be able to write legibly and have good math skills.
  • Ability to make basic arithmetic calculations requiring addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • Possess good computer and communication skills.
  • Show knowledge of maintenance tools.
  • Exercise safe work practices at all times.
  • Possess the ability to work effectively with others and be a team member.
  • Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Must demonstrate ability to successfully complete the required training.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs for a short distance.
  • Overnight Shift (11pm-7am)
